Start Times

*** PLEASE BE AT THE START LINE 10-15 MINUTES PRIOR TO RACE START ***

• 8:30 am - 5K and 10K race starts (pre-registration is required)

• 9:45 am - 1K race starts (pre-registration is required)

• 10:00 am - Tot Trot (pre-registration is not required)

The start line is located to the right of the Richcraft Recreation Complex Kanata (RRCK). Look for the soccer field and then the gazebo by the Trillium Wood Trailhead. Signs will be out to show you where to go - you can’t miss it!

Race Kit Pick Up 

Please come get your bib on Saturday!!! We have a large number of participants and lineups could make you late for the start time if you wait until Sunday.

Come get your bib the day before will really help ensure Sunday goes smoothly and on time! 

Timing Bibs are available for pick up at the Richcraft Recreation Complex (Kanata) outside at the Gazebo on the following days:

• Saturday, June 13th - 1pm-5pm

• Sunday, June 14th - 7:30am - 9:30am

Parking

Sold out registrations means we’ll have lots of folks trying to find parking. There is an event running this weekend at the RRCK as well. Please arrive early and leave yourself plenty of time to get to the race start.

There is plenty of parking available at the RRCK and in the area. For those coming for the 1K race please remember that the 5K and 10K runners are already out on the course. You’ll likely need to park further away, so allow extra time.

Is there on-site registration?

We will NOT have any sales at race kit pickup this year.

Water & Washrooms

There is a water station on the racecourse. Washrooms are located inside the Richcraft Recreation Complex Kanata.

Route Instructions

Final route instructions and updates will be provided just prior to the race start. The route map can be viewed on our homepage.
*Note that 10K runners will be doing the 5K route twice.

Weather

The races run rain or shine, hot or cold. Please plan your attire to account for the forecasted weather.

Rain is forecast for Sunday, along with the possibility of thunderstorms. For safety reasons, the race start may need to be delayed in the event of lightning and thunder.
